I am so excited to share with you this family favorite recipe! We absolutely love Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs in our Ninja Foodi!
I was inspired to try this recipe in my air fryer after seeing the Pigs in a Bacon Blanket recipe in one of my very favorite low carb cookbooks: Quick & Easy Ketogenic Cooking. You can find this cookbook and other favorites in My Low Carb Kitchen List in our Amazon Influencer Shop.
While we made this Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs Recipe in our Ninja Foodi, you can make this recipe in any air fryer. Or, if you don’t have an air fryer you can also make them on the grill or in a skillet. Whatever way you choose to make them, these tasty hot dogs are a total treat to eat and low carb friendly!
Notes on Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs (Ninja Foodi)
- This recipe was inspired byone of my very favorite low carb cookbooks: Quick & Easy Ketogenic Cooking. You can find this cookbook and other favorites in My Low Carb Kitchen List in our Amazon Influencer Shop.
- While we made this Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs Recipe in our Ninja Foodi, you can make this recipe in any air fryer. Or, if you don’t have an air fryer you can also make them on the grill or in a skillet by cooking on each side until desired done-ness is reached.
- We used our steamer rack in the lowest position to cook our hot dogs. You can use your air crisp/air fryer basket if desired.
- We like our hot dogs blackened, so in the video we used one strip of bacon per hot dog. If you would prefer for your hot dogs to be less done, wrap enough bacon to cover the entire hot dog (usually 1.5 slices) and cook until bacon reaches desired crispness.
- Cooking times for your air fryer will vary greatly depending on your unit, how much bacon you use on each hot dog and your preference for how you like your hot dogs.

So I tried this recipe because I’m trying to eat low carb and also, you know, BACON. I was amazed at how much I loved it. I’ve tried wrapping bacon around hot dogs before but it always ended up falling off or not getting crisp enough. I never thought of trying my foodi. It was perfect! Thank you for a quick and easy low carb meal.Reply
