Pakistani Actor, Alyy Khan Shares His Family's Reaction After Watching Him Kiss Kajol In 'The Trial' (2024)

Pakistan-born actor, Alyy Khan started his career in the entertainment industry in India. The actor, who began working in the 1990s, has also captivated audiences with his impeccable acting in Hollywood and Lollywood. Alyy, who holds British citizenship, was most recently seen in Zoya Akhtar’s film.The Archies. Moreover, he has also been a part of the crime thriller,The Trial, alongside Kajol.

Apart from his successful professional career, the actor is happily married to Chandni Saigol, an educationist. The couple has a son and a daughter. Recently, Alyy appeared on Deepak Perwani’s late-night show, Aap Ki Kahani, along with his wife and shared unheard details of the time when he was filming his kissing scene with Kajol in The Trial.

Alyy Khan talks about kissing scenes in projects

During the conversation, the host asked Alyy to share how his children react to his kissing scenes. To this, the actor revealed that his kids prefer not to watch his projects, but if he ever compelled them to watch his films, then they take a look at them. After this, Deepak further questioned Alyy if it is difficult to kiss actresses on the screen and how they plan such intimate scenes. Alyy said:

“Zahir sibaat hai rehearsal ke bagair toh kuch nahi hota, lekin rehearsals ka matlab ye toh nahi ki aap wakai ek dusre ko kiss karenge. Rehearsal ka matlab hota hai ki jitne bhi log uss shot mein involve ho, wo sab ek page pe hi ho na.”

The actor further said that the actual physical kissing process is mechanical, and the rehearsal is done so that the actors don’t have to go for retakes. When the host inquired about the process behind filming such intimate scenes, Alyy said that he has experience inkissing as he has been married for 20 years. Moreover, the actor also shared that he had a discussion with his wife before he said yes to the script.

Alyy Khan shares that his wife and daughter casually kept watching the series after his kissing scene with Kajol

Alyy also recalled the time when the series was released and said that the family was in Thailand back then. The actor mentioned that he watched The Trial with his wife and 15-year-old daughter. He said that his daughter and wife looked at him when the kissing scene ended and then they casually started watching the series again. In his words:

“Jab serial release huyi, hum Thailand mein the. Jab hum ye peisode dekh rahe the, toh main baitha hua, Chandni baithi huyi aur dusri sofe par meri beti baithi hai jo 15 saal ki hai. Toh hum sab TV dekh rahe the, toh suddenly ye scene aaya, kiss huyi, kiss khatam huyi aur begam aur beti ne mudke meri taraf, maine dekha aur hum sab casually phir dobara screen ki taraf chale. Toh mujhe itna fakar mehsoos hua ki there was no raised eyebrows. Iss mein koi embarrassment ki baat nahi thi, beti ko laga ki ye Abba ka kaam hai.”
